Okul ve Oyun Alanlari / Schools and Playgrounds

Bir okul alaninda veya yakinindaki saklamalara güvenlik nedeniyle izin verilmemektedir. Okul civarlarinda arama yapan Geocaching oyunculari süphe çekebilir ve güvenlik güçlerinin harekete geçmesini saglayabilir. Geocache yerlestirme kurallarinda da bunu görebilirsiniz:

Geocaches are not placed on school properties or military installations. Generally, schools and the military do not allow geocaching on their property... A cache and geocachers searching for a cache around schools or military installations are likely to arouse suspicion, which may result in military or local law enforcement response.

Ayni sekilde Çocuk Oyun Alanlari ve yakin civarinda yine arama yapan Geocaching oyunculari süphe çekebileceginden, bu alanlarda da saklamalara güvenlik nedeniyle izin verilmemektedir.

For the same reason it is not allowed to hide Geocaches in and around playgrounds.

Tatil Cache'leri / Vacation Caches / Urlaubcaches

Bir Geocache'e bakimin gerektirecegi çaba nedeniyle, lütfen fiziksel Cache'leri gezi yaptiginiz yerlerde degil de, genel Cache arama çevrenizde saklayiniz. Gezileriniz sirasinda yerlestirdiginiz Cache'ler, eger kabul edilebilir uygun bir bakim plani veremezseniz, genelde yayinlanmayacaktir. Bu plan ortaya çikabilecek problemlerde hemen müdahale edilebilecegini göstermeli ve sizin yoklugunuzda adiniza bakim yapacak yerel bir Geocaching oyuncusunun kullanici adini içermelidir. Alternatif olarak yerel bir kisiye bakim yapmasi için bilgi de verebilirsiniz. Bakim planinizi bir Denetçi Notu olarak yayininizda belgeleyin. Bu bakim yapacak kisinin iletisim bilgilerini de içermelidir. Bu not yayin sirasinda otomatik olarak silinecektir.

Because of the effort required to maintain a geocache, please place physical caches in your usual caching area and not while traveling. Caches placed during travel will likely not be published unless you are able to provide an acceptable maintenance plan. This plan must allow for a quick response to reported problems, and might include the username of a local cacher who will handle maintenance issues in your absence. Alternatively you might train a local person to maintain the cache. Document your maintenance plan in a Note to Reviewer on your cache listing. This should include contact information of the maintainer. The note will auto-delete on publication.

Bitte platziere Geocaches aufgrund des damit verbundenen Wartungsaufwands nur innerhalb Deines üblichen Geocaching-Gebietes und nicht während einer Reise. Geocaches, die während einer Reise versteckt wurden, werden voraussichtlich nicht freigeschaltet, es sei denn, Du kannst einen plausiblen Wartungsplan vorweisen. Dieser Plan muss bei gemeldeten Problemen eine schnelle Reaktion ermöglichen, und er muss u. U. den Benutzernamen eines örtlichen Geocachers enthalten, der während Deiner Abwesenheit die Wartung übernimmt. Alternativ kannst Du eine vor Ort lebende Person in die Geocachewartung einweisen. Dokumentiere Deinen Wartungsplan mit einer Reviewer-Notiz in Deinem Listing. Diese muss die Kontaktdaten der den Geocache wartenden Person enthalten. Bei der Veröffentlichung wird eine solche Notiz automatisch gelöscht. 

Otel Alanlarinda Cache ve Eventler / Caches and Events in Hotel Areas

Cache'leri otel alanlarina saklamak sorunlu olmaktadir. Otel misafiri olmayan kisiler genelde güvenlik nedeniyle alana alinmadiklarindan, arayacak kisilerin o Cache'e ulasmalari zor olacaktir. Ayrica buraya saklama yapabilmek için arazi sahibinin izni gerekmektedir. Saklama gününde bu izin alindiysa da, ilerleyen zaman içinde degisiklikler nedeniyle bu izin artik geçerli olmayabilir. Bu yüzden otel alanlarinda saklanacak Geocache'lere ancak özel durumlarda izin verilmektedir.

Otel alanlarinda yapilacak Event'lere izin verilmektedir, ama bu durumda da arazi sahibinin izni gerekmektedir. Ayrica tüm katilimcilar için otel alanina girmenin serbest oldugu ve herhangi bir tüketim zorunlulugu olmadigi Cache sayfasinda belirtilmelidir.

Hiding caches in hotel areas often poses a problem. Since non-guests of the hotel will not be allowed to get in for safety reasons, seekers may find it difficult to get to the cache. In addition, permission from the landowner must be present for such a cache. Even if such permission has been obtained on the day of hiding, it may be that after some time this authorization is no longer actual by changes. Therefore Geocaches are allowed in hotel facilities only with special permission.

Event Caches are permitted in hotel facilities, but it needs the permission of the landowner be present. It should also be mentioned on the listing, that access to the facilities for all participants is free and is they need not to consume anything.

Das Verstecken von Caches in Hotelanlagen bringt oft Probleme mit sich. Da Nicht-Gäste des Hotels aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht ohne weiteres in die Anlage eingelassen werden, können Suchende Schwierigkeiten haben, an den Cache zu gelangen. Außerdem muss für so einen Cache die Erlaubnis des Landbesitzers vorhanden sein. Auch wenn diese Erlaubnis am Tage des Versteckens eingeholt wurde, kann es sein, dass nach einiger Zeit durch Änderungen diese Erlaubnis nicht mehr aktuell ist. Deswegen werden Geocaches in Hotelanlagen nur mit besonderem Erlaubnis gestattet.

Event Caches in Hotelanlagen sind erlaubt, es muss aber die Erlaubnis des Landbesitzers vorhanden sein. Außerdem muss auf der Seite erwähnt werden, dass der Zugang zur Anlage für alle Teilnehmer frei ist und sie nichts konsumieren müssen.

Havaalanlari, Limanlar ve diger Yasakli Alanlar / Airports, Seaports and other restricted areas

Cache'leri havaalanlarina, limanlara ve diger yasakli yerlere saklamaya genelde özel izin olmadan olur verilmiyor. Havaalanlarinin ve limanlarin güvenlik bölgeleri saklama yapmak için uygun degildir. Ayrica burada Event açmak için de izni gerekmektedir. Cache'ler ve Eventler herkesin rahatça ulasabilecegi yerlerde olmasi gerektiginden Havaalanlarinin ve limanlarin gümrük alanlari, askeri veya sivil kapali bölgelerde saklama veya Event yapmaya genelde izin verilmemektedir ancak özel izinler ile duruma göre degerlendirme yapilabilir.

Hiding caches in airports, seaports and other restricted areas without special permission is not allowed. Hiding caches in the security area of airports and seaports is not a good idea. Also events here need a permisson. Caches and events must be at places open for everyone. So port side areas of airports and seaports, millitary and civil restricted areas are not allowed for hiding or events; only in special cases, if permition can be provided, the case will checked.

Bina içlerindeki Cache'ler / Caches in buildings

Geocaching birincil olarak dis mekanlarda yapilan bir etkinliktir ama bazi durumlarda iç mekanlarda da Geocache saklanabilir. Izinler ve ticari olmama gibi temel kurallar geçerlidir ve mekan içinde personel ile iletisim kurmadan bulunabilecek sekilde yerlestirilmis olmalilardir. Kütüphaneler ve ticari olmayan binalar içindeki saklamalara, yalnizca yeterli GPS kullanimi varsa izin verilir. Giris kapisinin koordinatlarini verip, insanlara içeri girmelerini söylemek yeterli GPS kullanimi degildir. Yeterli GPS kullanimi olmasi için, koordinatlar disarda ayri bir adima yönlendirmeli veya bir adima veya Cache'e ulasmak için gereken bir bilgiye yönlendirmelidir. Mesela disarda koordinatlar ile ulasilabilecek ve Cache'i bulmak için gereken bilgiler içeren bir kutu saklanabilir. Ya da içerde dis mekanda bulunan ve GPS kullanarak ulasilabilecek bir yol noktasina yönlendirme olabilir. Adimlar fiziksel veya sanal olabilir. Bu kisitlamalar nedeniyle bina içlerindeki Cache'ler hiç bir zaman Geleneksel tipte olamazlar.

Daha önce yayinlanmis Cache'ler, bir sikayet olmadigi sürece, olduklari gibi kalabilirler. Geocache'leri yerlestirmek için bir emsal olmadigini hatirlatiriz. Yani benzer bir Geocache'in geçmiste yayinlanmis olmasi, yeni bir Geocache'in yayinlanabilmesi için geçerli bir gerekçe olmadigi anlamina gelir.

Geocaching is primarily an outdoor activity, but in some cases geocaches can be hidden indoors. Basic guidelines like permission and non-commercialism still apply, and they should be placed where finders do not have to interact with the staff in the building. Hiding caches inside public libraries and some other non-commercial buildings is only allowed with sufficient GPS usage.  Setting the posted coordinates at the front door and telling people to go inside is not usually sufficient GPS usage.  For sufficient GPS usage, the coords need to be to a discrete spot where there is a stage, or information that leads to a cache or stage.The cacher can hide a container outside, referenced by coords, that provides instructions for locating the cache inside. Or something inside can direct to a subsequent GPS navigable waypoint outside. The stage can be either physical or virtual.Because of this, indoor caches can never be traditional caches.

Caches published earlier can stay as they are, as long as there is no complaint. Please be advised that there is no precedent for placing geocaches. This means that the past publication of a similar geocache in and of itself is not a valid justification for the publication of a new geocache.

Etkinlik Yogunlugu / Event Stacking

Etkinlik yogunlugunu engellemek için; düzenlenen Etkinlikler birbirine 5 kilometreden yakin ise, aralarinda en az 5 saat süre olmali veya aralarinda 5 saatten az süre var ise, birbirlerinden en az 5 kilometre uzaklikta olmalilar.

Istanbul için iki Etkinligin farkli kitalarda olmasi durumunda istisna vardir. Yani Avrupa yakasinda bir etkinlik varsa, ikinci bir Etkinlik Asya yakasinda olabilir, zaman sinirlamasi yoktur.

To prevent stacking, events needed to be separated by either 5 hours in time if they were within 5 kilometers of each other or more than 5 kilometers if they were within 5 hours of each other.

Exclusion in Istanbul is, if two events are in different continental parts of the city. This means if an event is at the European part, the second one can be in the Asian part without time limitation.
