STONEWALL (Eng)

In July 2013, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia accepted the modality of protecting stonewall through the protection of the construction technique itself as an intangible cultural asset. With this, the skill of "dry" masonry is protected at the national level by a decision on preventive protection, the duration of which is 3 years. After a three-year period of preventive protection, in December 2016, the art of drywall construction received permanent protection as an intangible cultural asset of the Republic of Croatia.
The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia made a decision declaring the art of dry wall construction an intangible cultural asset, and it was included in the Register of Cultural Assets of the Republic of Croatia. At a meeting of experts on the topic "Dry construction technique" as an element of intangible cultural heritage, the preparation of a joint candidacy of the countries where this traditional construction exists, from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Spain and Switzerland, and for inclusion in the UNESCO this Representative list of intangible assets of humanity.

On November 29, 2018, drywall was added to UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage.

SUHOZID (HR)

U srpnja 2013. nakon dugih godina dilema o tome kako zakonski zaštititi suhozid, Ministarstvo kulture Republike Hrvatske prihvatilo je modalitet zaštite suhozida kroz zaštitu same tehnike gradnje kao nematerijalnog kulturnog dobra. Time je vještina zidanja "u suho" zaštićena na nacionalnoj razini rješenjem o preventivnoj zaštiti na period od 3 godine.

Nakon trogodišnjeg perioda preventivne zaštite umijeće je suhozidne gradnje u prosincu 2016. godine dobilo i trajnu zaštitu kao nematerijalno kulturno dobro RH. Ministarstvo kulture Republike Hrvatske donijelo je odluku kojom se umijeće suhozidne gradnje proglašava nematerijalnim kulturnim dobrom, te je uvršteno u Registar kulturnih dobara Republike Hrvatske. Na sastanku stručnjaka na temu "Tehnika gradnje „u suho“" kao element nematerijalne kulturne baštine, krenulo se s izradom zajedničke kandidature zemalja gdje postoji ta tradicijska gradnja, iz Cipra, Bugarske, Hrvatske, Grčke, Španjolske i Švicarske a radi upisa na UNESCO-ovu Reprezentativnu listu nematerijalnih dobara čovječanstva.

Suhozid je 29. studenog 2018. godine stavljen na UNESCO-ov popis nematerijalne kulturne baštine.

SCHOOLS AND PLAYGROUNDS (Eng)

The general rule is that caches near or around schools, kindergartens and playgrounds will not be published as a rule, despite the fact that it may be a publicly accessible area. The reason is mainly in the way of searching for a cache, where the very search for a cache in this area could cause concern for the safety of school children or kindergartens among passers-by, parents of children and/or employees, which in turn can pose problems for geocachers.

An exception is possible only in case of obtaining the appropriate permission from the manager or owner of the mentioned institutions, while the following must be taken into account:

• The e-mail of the responsible person of the school, kindergarten or playground must be sent to the reviewer's e-mail address.
• The e-mail must contain the GC code and the coordinates of the cache/container in question (as well as all physical way points),
• send an e-mail from the official address of the school, kindergarten or playground.

In all of this, it is necessary to know that just obtaining a permit does not mean that parental notification or police intervention is excluded. During the inspection, the reviewer considers each case individually, and can decide and check the permits.

ŠKOLE I DJEČJA IGRALIŠTA (HR)

Opće pravilo je da se cachevi (kutijice) u blizini ili u krugu škola, vrtića i igrališta u pravilu neće objavljivati, unatoč tome što se može raditi o javno dostupnom prostoru. Razlog je uglavnom u načinu potrage za spremikom, gdje bi sama potraga za spreminkom na ovom području kod prolaznika, roditelja djece i/ili kod zaposlenika može izazvati zabrinutost za sigurnost školske djece ili vrtića, što pak može predstavljati probleme za geocachere.
Iznimka je moguća samo u slučaju ishođenja odgovarajućeg dopuštenja od upravitelja ili vlasnika navedenih ustanova, pri čemu se mora voditi računa o sljedećem:

• e-mail odgovorne osobe škole, vrtića ili igrališta potrebno je poslati na e-mail adresu recenzenta,
• E-pošta mora sadržavati GC kod i koordinate predmetnog cachea/spremnika (kao i svih postavljenih fizičkih točka),
• e-mail poslati sa službene adrese škole, vrtića ili igrališta.
  

Pri svemu ovome potrebno je voditi računa da samo dobivanje dozvole ne znači da je isključena obavijest roditelja ili intervencija policije. Tijekom nadzora ispitivač razmatra svaki slučaj pojedinačno, a može odlučiti i provjeriti dozvole.
