This database has details of land areas where specific permission is required or where caching is not allowed. Mapping resources are shown. The most useful is MAGIC and there is a very useful link called MagicMapIt! that you can enter any coordinates into to check a location.

Local Nature Reserves

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds have given a variable response to requests for permission and each area seems to handle requests differently. You may or may not be successful in getting permission. There is no one agreement for the RSPB.
